I've been using the Tide 3-in-1 Spring Meadow laundry pods for about 4 weeks now and overall, I would definitely recommend them. The package does mention to use 2 pods if you are doing a large load of laundry so you could end up going through this size of container quicker than expected depending on the size of your loads (coming from a house of 4). I like the size count as I do a lot of laundry and go through a lot of detergent. To start, the packing is quite convenient. I was sent the 72 count package to review by Shopper's Army. The 3-in-1 includes detergent, stain remover and brightener all in the same convenient little pod. Today I am reviewing the Tide Pods 3-in-1 Spring Meadow laundry pacs. The container was a little difficult to openĪll in all I think it's a great product and I will most likely buy it next time I need laundry detergent! The pods would be easy to pack and take if you're on an extended vacation and plan on doing laundry while you're away You can easily see how many you have left instead of trying to guess how many loads are left in the bottle I usually use Tide or the Kirkland equivalent and found the pods cleaned just as well as the regular liquid but without the hassle. The smell was lovely, and not overpowering. I usually use the fragrance bead/crystals in the wash so my laundry has a nice fresh smell but decided to try the pods as is and found nothing additional was necessary. I was really curious to see how well these would perform, and I'm happy to report that I was very pleasantly surprised! I've always like the idea of individual tablets/pods for laundry but have never been happy with any of the results. That seal alone would keep me from purchasing the product. I'll simply keep it stored out of the way rather than requiring the manufacturer to develop a crazy difficult seal. I had huge problems with operating the child safety seal, and ended up cutting that section of the package off so that I didn't have to deal with it each time. If I had a machine that used more water, than maybe these would be more appropriate. The smell was amazing when I opened he washes door, and items retained a nice fresh scent. Having said that, it sure was convenient to simply throw a pod in with the wash and have both detergent and fabric softener taken care of. I cannot imagine using two pods as recommended for heavily soiled laundry! After all four washes were complete, having had a full rinse cycle, there was quite a lot of soap suds in the front of the gusset of my front loader, meaning there would still be soap residue on the items that had been washed, and the machine had also been inundated with too much soap. After 4 washes I knew that too much soap was in one pod for my liking. I was, however, happy to try Tide PODS plus Downy for the first time to see if the pods may actually contain a level of detergent I, and subsequently my machine, would be happy with. Laundry pods are not something I typically use as I cannot control the amount of detergent being used. In the meantime, please give us a call at (800) 879-8433, so we can help you with this further.
